A DAY TO TOUCH SPACE
“Astronaut for a Day” is the Spanish Space Agency's outreach and talent programme for young people who dream of a career in the space sector. In the 2026 edition, 35 participants selected from 389 applicants spent three days in May at the General Air and Space Academy in San Javier (Murcia).
The highlight was a real parabolic flight aboard the Airbus A310 ZERO-G, operated with NOVESPACE, following training led by ESA astronauts Pablo Álvarez and Sara García.
FROM THE RUNWAY TO WEIGHTLESSNESS
We handled the programme's full audiovisual coverage for the AEE: multi-camera ground filming, drone operators, live sound, stills photography and making-of, from the participants' arrival to the seconds of weightlessness aboard the aircraft.
With editing and post-production done on site, the aftermovie captures the participants' excitement from the call for applications to the diploma ceremony.
