THE ORIGIN OF WINE
For the “Banquetes” exhibition at the Archaeological Museum of Murcia, we travelled back to the arrival of the Phoenicians and Greeks in the Iberian Peninsula, the moment when the history of wine in our land begins.
We reconstructed the symposia, ceremonies and rituals surrounding wine: how it was mixed in kraters, how it was served and what was eaten around the table. A way of looking at the pieces in the exhibition and understanding what they were used for.
RECREATING WITH RIGOUR
What could never be filmed, we recreated with artificial intelligence. Every scene is grounded in documentary and archaeological research: we don't set out to imagine history, but to interpret it rigorously so viewers understand how those who came before us lived.
We intercut the recreations with real pieces from the museum, such as kraters, cups and a bronze strainer, so that object and scene explain each other. Because history doesn't change; what changes is how we tell it.
